Managed Odoo hosting

Seventeen client databases with nightly offsite backups, a daily health email and a push-to-deploy pipeline from staging to production.

17.

client databases on one managed server

The problem

Each client had been running Odoo their own way: different versions, manual updates, and backups nobody had tested. When something broke, the first sign was usually an angry phone call.

What we built

  1. One Docker host running every client in its own isolated container and database.
  2. Nightly backups of each database and its files, copied offsite to Google Drive.
  3. A health report emailed at 07:00 Tripoli time: containers, disk, certificates and last backup per client.
  4. Git push to a staging branch deploys to a staging copy; promoting to production is one click on a web dashboard.

Where it is now

All seventeen databases run on one monitored server. Problems show up in the morning report before clients notice them, and every deploy goes through staging first.
